We started Roots Revival because our neighbors kept asking the same thing: who can I actually trust to show up? Between the two of us we had spent years building decks, painting rooms, clearing yards, cooking, cleaning and looking after other people’s homes — so we decided to stop doing it for someone else’s company and start doing it for the place we love.

Lake Lure and Chimney Rock are home. These are our roads, our churches, our grocery store. When a storm knocks a fence down or a rental has guests coming in three hours, the people who help are the people who live here. That’s the part we wanted to revive — neighbors taking care of neighbors, with real workmanship behind it.

Roots Revival is husband-and-wife owned, and we’re the ones who show up and stand behind every job. When a project calls for extra hands, we bring in a small circle of trusted local craftsmen we’ve personally vetted and worked with for years — never a revolving crew of strangers.
