About our rental snack & meal stocking work

This one started because guests kept arriving at 9pm to an empty kitchen. Now it's one of our favorite services. We stock short-term rentals and second homes with food, snacks, drinks and household supplies so the place feels lived-in and welcoming the minute somebody walks in the door.

There are two versions of it. The first is the standard restock: coffee, filters, creamer, sugar, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, sponges, foil, salt and pepper, cooking oil — the boring stuff that guests notice only when it's missing and then mention in a review. We keep a list per property so nothing gets forgotten between turnovers.

The second is the welcome version, which owners use to earn five-star reviews. A basket of local snacks, breakfast items for the first morning, drinks in the fridge, a bottle of wine on the counter, birthday or anniversary touches when a guest mentions one. We can shop to your budget and your list, or you can hand us the occasion and let us put it together. Families with kids, a couple's weekend and a hunting trip all want different things in the fridge.

We can go further than groceries too. Beds made, towels set out, heat or AC set to a comfortable temperature before arrival, lights on, a quick tidy, and a photo sent to you so you can see the place is guest-ready. Because we also clean, do laundry, mow and handle repairs, one call covers the whole turnover instead of three separate vendors and three schedules.

What it costs

Stocking is quoted two ways: the cost of the goods themselves, and our time to shop, deliver and set up.

What moves the price:

  • Size of the list — basics only versus a full welcome spread
  • Your grocery budget, which you set and we stick to
  • Number of properties and how often they turn over
  • Distance and drive time to the property
  • Whether cleaning, laundry or bed setup is added on
  • Same-day or short-notice turnarounds

Recurring rental clients usually settle into a predictable per-turnover arrangement once we've learned the property. Receipts always come back to you.

Rental Snack & Meal Stocking questions we get asked

Do you pay for the groceries?
We can front them and pass the receipts through, or you can prepay a grocery budget. Whatever's easier for your bookkeeping.
How much notice do you need?
A couple of days is comfortable. We'll do our best with same-day turnovers when our schedule allows.
Can you handle several properties?
Yes. We keep a separate stocking list and access notes for each one.
Can you do the cleaning too?
Yes — turnover cleaning, laundry, trash and stocking in one visit is our most common rental package.

How to book
